Xiaomi also known as China's Apple has announced its brand new phone Redmi 2 after the huge success of Redmi 1s to hit the market soon for its sale.

As we already know that Redmi 1s also came on the list of discontinued devices like the mi3 so the Redmi 2 is going to rock now. It is a dual sim phone with dual standby. The Redmi 2 will go on sale on February 13 in China during the Chinese company's Spring Festival and expected to hit the Flipkart for indian costumers soon. Redmi 2 features double the RAM and Storage than Redmi 1s and also much much more in the box. The device will be called the Enhanced Edition and will be available at the price tag below 8k which is a very good deal. Another plus point is Redmi 2 is one of those that supports 4G. Now lets talk about the specifications.

SPECIFICATIONS

Display- Redmi 2 sports 4.7 inches HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280×720. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 2. It has a pixel density of 312ppi.

Os- The device comes with Android v4.4.4 with MiUi v6.2 on top of it.

Chpiset and CPU-  Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 which is a 64bit chipset and is 

Quad-core 1.2GHz Cortex-A53.

Memory- 1GB Ram, 8GB internal storage/2GB Ram, 16GB internal storage.

Camera- The primary camera is 8 mega pixel with autofocus and LED flash have features like HDR, Face detection, Geo tagging, Touch Focus.
The secondry camera is a 2 mega pixel. 1080p at 30fps videos can be recorded from the primary camera nd 720p videos from the front camera.

WiFi- 802.11 b/g/n, WiFi Direct, WiFi Hotspot.

Bluetooth- v4.0

GPS- Gps enabled with A-GPS and GLONASS.

Battery- 2200 mAh battery with Quick Charge 1.0 that take battery from 0% to 30% in just 30 minutes.

Sensors- Accelerometer, Compass, Gyro and  proximity.

With above specifications we can say tha Redmi 2 is a steal deal below 8k grab on of em' Asap.
